Its debut album, A Flair for the Dramatic, was released in 2007 and followed by a major tour that included stops on Vans Warped Tour. Fuentes' brother Mike Fuentes was the drummer until 2017 when he left the band. The post-hardcore band features Vic Fuentes, Tony Perry and Jaime Preciado. Fuentes decided that meant not giving things that hurt you a chance to do real damage and decided on it as a name for the band. He explained it as a means of getting to the heart of a given problem and removing the source. While sitting in a sociology class at San Diego State University, lead singer Vic Fuentes heard his professor mention piercing the veil.
Formed in 2006, the band has enjoyed a string of hits like "King For A Day," "Bulls in the Bronx," "Bulletproof Love" and "Caraphernelia." The band has received several awards for its music, including Best Underground Alternative Band 2017 in the iHeartRadio Music Awards, Best Video 2013 for "King For A Day" in the Kerrang! Awards and Band of the Year 2013 in the Rock Sound Readers Poll.
